About ME
Welcome to my site "Live Life Simply"! My name is Victoria Eastham-Belman and my aspirations in making this blog/lifestyle site is to show that Facebook and Twitter don't always have to occupy our time! Don't get me wrong, at times, I find myself completely emerged in the fantastical internet world of Instagram and Pinterest, and I'm not too proud about it... I am 25 years-old and I am a wife and mother and student, and I am trying my best to "live life simply". Throughout this site, I wanna blog about all of the different tips and tricks that I use myself in an attempt to feel more fulfilled at the end of the day (as well as the multiple things throughout my day that contribute to the madness in my world), as well as some information about common mental health issues.
My son is about a year and four months, and I have been with my husband (married) for just over 2 years. I am currently a psychology major at Arizona State University, and I will have my bachelor's degree in May of 2018. I want to be able to take all of the information I have learned these past few years to find techniques to minimize stress and make life more simple. This is NOT a blog about getting rid of technology, or to live in a box in the middle of nowhere. This IS a blog about taking the craziness that is real life and finding those little moments to be able to take a deep breath and feel a little sense of relief and/or contentment, while learning a little bit about how the brain works and how it can effect your daily life.
Between all of the "hats" that I wear on a daily basis, between wife, mother, student, and employee, I get stressed. So stressed that I wanna pull my hair out one strand at a time. Between the diaper changes, trying to find recipes for dinners, staying up late to finish homework, being on my feet all day as a server trying to make extra cash, and the late night wake-ups from my son having trouble sleeping through the night: I wake up stressed, I live stressed, and I fall asleep stressed. Life isn't easy. But here, I wanna show you that I KNOW it isn't easy, and I want to be able to bring some fun stories, educational knowledge, and possibly some personal insight on different ways to find a unique road to what could make YOU simply happy.
